Where Chhattarpur is

Chhattarpur (also written Chattarpur or Chhatarpur) is in South Delhi, between Mehrauli, Saket and Vasant Kunj to the north and the Gurugram border to the south-west. It is known for the Chhattarpur Mandir temple complex, its green farmhouse belt and wide stretches of ridge forest nearby.

Who it suits

Chhattarpur suits families who want a South Delhi address and metro access, with more space for the money than older neighbourhoods like Saket or Vasant Kunj. It also works well for people who commute to Gurugram on the Yellow Line.

What to check when buying here

Lanes in parts of Chhattarpur are narrow, and paperwork varies from building to building. Check road width, parking, water source, registry and whether banks give loans on the building. Our Chattarpur buyer's checklist covers each point.
